CHIEF CONSULTANT JOHN KELLY
A graduate, John held a number of management positions in the textile industry which, coupled with his practical and detailed knowledge of Quality Systems and Total Quality Management, has provided a sound basis for advising both organisations and individuals on improvement strategies.
During sixteen years of conducting training and consultancy assignments, John has been instrumental in advising leading organisations to formulate and implement TQM programmes, enabling them to develop a strategy to give them an edge over their competitors. He is a registered Lead Auditor, and has conducted both second and third party audits against ISO 9001 on behalf of a number of organisations. He has experience of working on behalf of, and internally with Business Links and Development agencies.
John is a registered advisor and Accredited Assessor for Investors in People, and an Accredited Lexcel Assessor. He is the author and co-author of a number of books and articles on Quality and related subjects. He has a licence from the BQF to deliver training in the Excellence Model and train assessors, and has assisted organisations to achieve ISO 14001.
His work in teaching, training and advising organisations has utilised his facilitation, mentoring and coaching skills.

Ray has extensive engineering and manufacturing knowledge in both mechanical and electronic sectors, which have been gained in his various roles in both the private and public sectors. A great amount of that time spent in the private sector meant engagement in many different sectors of industry including: automotive, aerospace, materials, rail/light rail, power generation (including green and alternative energy), logistics, textiles, food and drink, healthcare, motorsport, agriculture and construction. Procurement has always played a key part in any of the roles adopted, and this has meant interfacing with literally hundreds of companies in the associated supply chains, both large and small. Bringing the ethos of the training in procurement of getting the ‘best value’ from every pound to each role, Ray has saved millions of pounds for his employers and installed various management disciplines in companies to improve their performance.
